Our hydrogen infrastructure projects
Hydrogen Backbone Belgium
A network to transport hydrogen (H2), in and between the industrial clusters, to reach a certain market size and improve security of supply. Any company, producer or user, can connect to our backbone.
European Hydrogen Backbone
Together with over 30 fellow energy infrastructure companies Fluxys helps build hydrogen supply corridors in Europe to accelerate decarbonization of its industry.
AquaDuctus in Germany
A large-scale offshore pipeline project with partner Gascade to boost the hydrogen economy in Germany and Europe.
Hydrogen Import
Fluxys joins forces to enable large-scale import of hydrogen from countries where wind and sun are available in abundance. Our partners: Deme, Engie, Exmar, Port of Antwerp-Bruges and WaterstofNet.
Ammonia terminal
Project with Advario for the construction of an import terminal for green ammonia with open access in Port of Antwerp-Bruges
Hydrogen test facility
Collaboration with National Gas and Northern Gas Networks in the UK to test how to safely introduce hydrogen into our existing natural gas infrastructure.
Hydrogen panels
Research project with the university KU Leuven to test gamechanging technology that produces green hydrogen from sunlight and water vapour in the air.
