Fluxys Belgium: Auction Window Additional Volume & PBC Storage

In the continuity of previous years, Fluxys Belgium is pleased to announce that Additional Volume will be offered to the market through a storage auction window alongside Priority Booster Capacity consisting of interruptible injection and withdrawal rights.

The Auction Window will take place from Wednesday 12 March 2025 at 08:00 CET to Monday 24 March 2024 at 12:00 CET (Noon).

Products on Offer

Fluxys Belgium is auctioning the following Storage Services:

• Additional Volume (Firm) : 800 000 MWh for the Storage Year 2025-2026
• PBC Injection (Interruptible) : 0 MWh/h for April to December 2025
• PBC Injection (Interruptible) : 734 MWh/h for January to March 2026
• PBC Withdrawal (Interruptible) : 1 072 MWh/h for April to October 2025
• PBC Withdrawal (Interruptible) : 586 MWh/h for November to December 2025
• PBC Withdrawal (Interruptible) : 526 MWh/h for January to March 2026

The reserve price for each product is indicated in the Terms and Conditions.

Important Operational Information

• The firm additional volume offered during this auction window is not linked to the EU Filling Trajectory which applies only on our Golden SBU products. Consequently, the 90% filling target by 1^st November 2025, as well as intermediary targets, do not apply to this product.

• We would like to emphasize that due to the ongoing electrification project of our compressors throughout this year (implying some limitations on the availability of our compressors, and consequently on injection capacities) and a forecasted lower overall GIS level on April 1^st, we expect a higher probability of interruptions during the 2025 injection season which should impact the availability of additional interruptible products, including Booster Capacities and Priority Booster Capacities, during this period.

To participate in the auction and submit a bid you need to:

1. Read the Terms and Conditions
2. Fill in and sign the Auction Form
3. Send the signed Auction form to info.storage@fluxys.com by Monday 24 March 2025 before 12:00 CET (Noon).

Note that in order to take part in this Auction Window, you need to have signed a Standard Storage Agreement (SSA).
