Assignment

Assign your unused entry and exit capacities on Interconnection Points (bundled or unbundled) or Domestic Points to another Transmission shipper.

There are 2 transaction types on the secondary market:

• Full Assignment : Transfer of all rights and obligations to your trade counterparty including financial obligations
• Transfer of use : Transfer of all rights and obligations except the financial obligations towards Fluxys Belgium remain with you. Your trade counterparty will pay you the agreed fees and you will pay Fluxys Belgium
  
  

How to register your assignment of entry and exit capacities?

In order to sell/buy entry and exit transmission services on the secondary market both parties (assignee and assignor) must be a shipper. If not yet the case, follow the 5 steps to become a Fluxys Transmission shipper and sign a free Standard Transmission Agreement (STA).

There are 3 ways to register your transaction types on the secondary market:

Anonymous assignments via PRISMA

• A party enters on the PRISMA Secondary Market Platform a proposal (either for sale or purchase) and specifies quantity and period:
      - In case of a “First-Come-First Served Trading Procedure” the party enters also the proposed price that he would due to the assignor by the assignee
      - In case of a “Call for Order Trading Procedure” the party makes a request to receive a proposed price by other parties
• Another party respond to the proposal and specifies quantity and period and in case of the Call for Order Trading Procedure also a price
• A deal is concluded once both parties agree on all aspects of the trade such as quantity, period and price
• Such assignment of transmission services can start at the earliest as from next full hour + 2
• You will receive a confirmation mail once the assignment has been registered

Over the counter assignments via PRISMA

• The assignor and assignee have mutually agreed on a trade
• The assignor or assignee enters the assignment on the PRISMA Secondary Market Platform
• The other party (assignee or assignor) confirms the assignment that was registered by the first party
• Such assignment of transmission services can start at the earliest as from next full hour + 2 after such confirmation
• You will receive a confirmation mail once the assignment has been registered

Over the counter assignments in written (in case of PRISMA issues)

• The assignor and assignee have mutually agreed on a trade
• The assignor or assignee notifies Fluxys Belgium in written of the transmission services to be assigned. Fill in and sign this form and return it to info.transport@fluxys.com
• Such assignment of transmission services can start at the earliest as from 2 entire business days after such notification
• You will receive a confirmation mail once the assignment has been registered
