Fluxys Belgium: Reminder - Opening of FCFS Period for Long-Term SBU Offering

From December 6th to December 19th 2025, Fluxys organized a subscription window to offer Long Term Golden Standard Bundled Units (SBU) for periods starting 1st April 2026 and lasting up to 10 Storage Years. Additionally, seasonal and quarterly Priority Booster Capacity (PBC) were offered to enhance the firm injection and withdrawal capacities included in the offered Golden SBUs for the same period.
In line with our offering, since January 6th 2025, the remaining Golden Standard Bundled Units (SBU) are available to the market on a First-Come, First-Served (FCFS) basis.

Assign your unused Storage services.

There are 2 transaction types on the secondary market:

Full Assignment: Transfer of all rights and obligations to your trade counterparty including financial obligations.
Transfer of use: Transfer of all rights and obligations except the financial obligations towards Fluxys Belgium that remain with you. Your trade counterparty will pay you on the agreed fees and you will continue to pay Fluxys Belgium.

How to find a counterparty?

Fluxys developed Emix, a digital Market Place where you can interact easily with capacity owners or buyers (anonymously or not) and trade your Storage services over the counter.

You can also request Fluxys Belgium to post an anonymous notice on your behalf for your unused service on Emix.
If the service is successfully allocated via Fluxys Belgium's offer on your behalf, 3% of the regulated tariff of the amount of the assigned services will be charged to the assignor.

This service will be allocated on a FCFS basis to the first business party that submits this signed form.

How to assign?

In order to sell or buy Storage services on the Secondary Market, both parties (assignor and assignee) must be a shipper. If this not yet the case, follow the 5 steps to become a Storage user at Fluxys Belgium.

Once you mutually agreed on a trade with a counter party, fill in and sign the Assignment Request Form and submit to info.storage@fluxys.com at the latest 5 Business Days prior to the start of the assignment period.
