2019 : A record year for the operations at Zeebrugge LNG Terminal

2019 was very intense at the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal. Thanks to a lot of operations, the results were much higher than the previous year :

• 2620 LNG Truck were loaded (compared to 1453 in 2018)
• 91 cargoes were unloaded (compared to 33 in 2018)
• 40 cargoes were reloaded (compared to 25 in 2018)

20 out of the 40 were small scale reloads.

19 out of the 40 reloads were part of a transshipment operation. For 2020 we expect even more transshipment operations because the 5th storage tank of a 180 000 m³ LNG is fully operational since December 2019.

Since January 2019, a second truck loading station operates in parallel with the first one, allowing day-ahead flexibility and high availability for the Truckloading services (8000 slots per year).
