IUK announces launch of new capacity sale

Today, Interconnector (UK) Limited (IUK) and Fluxys Belgium published an Information Memorandum, announcing the launch of aligned sales processes for Shippers wishing to transport gas between the key trading hubs in North West Europe and the major downstream markets in the region.

The sales process relates to capacity from 1 October 2018. This is an important step in determining the next phase of the Interconnector. It is also a unique opportunity for Shippers to book capacity with significant price incentives for longer term bookings and a lowest price guarantee. Shippers who make longer term annual bookings will also be given the option of seasonal profiling, through the purchase of quarterly products.
