Working safely near Fluxys pipelines – guidelines and policies

There is a Fluxys pipeline in your vicinity: how to work, build or dig safely?

A Fluxys gas pipeline runs through your property or in the immediate vicinity? You need to carry out construction or road works on a customer's property where a pipeline may be located? You want to plough or work the ground with heavy machinery or vehicles?

Any work that requires you to dig, place structures or operate heavy machinery can damage our gas pipelines and cause a gas leak. Our teams are ready to help prevent this and protect your staff and local residents.

  1. That is why it is important to report all works to Fluxys in advance.
  2. Together with a Fluxys employee, see how you can safely carry out the activities around our pipeline.
  3. Only start the works after one of our colleagues has visited the site, reviewed the necessary safety regulations and ensured that the agreements are clear to everyone involved.

Always contact Fluxys when planning works.

Only start after one of our patrol officers has visited the site.
