Great success for our Call for Market Interests (CMI) on hydrogen!

We are pleased to announce that our recent Call for Market Interests (CMI) for hydrogen have been a great success. For the CMI to Germany and France, over 30 companies took part, demonstrating their keen interest in this initiative.

In addition, this success reflects the involvement of various stakeholders in the value chain, whether upstream, midstream or downstream. Participation in upstream includes companies in ammonia production and import, in domestic production, as well as import terminals. In downstream, we see mainly end-users in Germany, as well as end-users on the routes to the border points. In the midstream, a significant number of stakeholders with existing upstream or downstream portfolios are seeking to secure decarbonization solutions for their customers. This diversity underlines the importance and maturity of hydrogen projects in different market segments.

CMI process

The CMI process has been structured into several key steps:

  1. Registration
  2. Non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
  3. Participation form
  4. Clarification meetings

We are currently in the clarification meeting stage, where our sales teams meet with the participants to discuss details and specific needs.

Next steps

The clarification meetings will continue, and we expect to return with results on volumes and deadlines in the first trimester of 2025. We will also work on consolidating data to avoid double-counting of volumes, in order to propose an infrastructure adapted to market needs

We would like to thank all participating companies for their commitment and interest. Stay tuned for further updates on this promising initiative.
