UPDATE: PRISMA quarterly auction on 04 November 2019

Fluxys TENP GmbH (Fluxys TENP) and Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) would hereby like to provide all interested parties with the following information related to the quarterly capacity auction on PRISMA to be held on 04 November 2019.

As communicated on 03 June 2019, the final phase of the construction works for measure n°307-01 (“GDRM-Anlage Mittelbrunn”) in the framework of the Network Development Plan Gas 2016-2026 (NDP 2016) will be completed during summer 2020.

Based on the planned maintenance measure No. 21021949 published on October 21, 2019, the physical gas transfer between the TENP and MEGAL pipeline systems will be restricted from 01 April 2020 06:00 until 01 August 2020 06:00. As a consequence, part of the bFZK and FZK capacities at Entry Bocholtz, part of the FZK capacities at Exit Wallbach / VIP Germany-CH as well as FZK, bFZK and DZK capacities at Entry and Exit Eynatten / VIP Belgium-NCG will be impacted.

During the maintenance period the following firm capacities are available for Fluxys TENP and OGE in total at the respective points:

• Entries Bocholtz: 9,649,143 kWh/h
• Exits Wallbach / VIP Germany-CH: 11,305,212 kWh/h
• Entries Eynatten / VIP Belgium-NCG: 5,765,234 kWh/h
• Exits Eynatten / VIP Belgium-NCG: 0 kWh/h

The breakdown to the different firm capacity types can be seen in the respective publication portals of Fluxys TENP and OGE.

However, physical transport from the North entries of TENP will remain possible with interruptible access to the Virtual Trading Point. Therefore, during the quarterly capacity auction of 04 November, Fluxys TENP and OGE will offer DZK capacities between Entry Bocholtz and Exit VIP Germany-CH for Q2 2020 (transport period 01 April 2020 06:00 – 01 July 2020 06:00). This product enables firm transport for parties nominating in balance between Entry Bocholtz and Exit Wallbach / VIP Germany-CH. OGE and Fluxys TENP will both offer DZK capacities on Entry Bocholtz, Fluxys TENP will offer DZK exit capacities on VIP Germany-CH.

Interruptible capacities for the affected period will be offered anyway. Remaining available firm capacities will be offered in the respective monthly, daily and within-day auctions according to the PRISMA auction calendar.

For transport period 01 August 2020 06:00 – 01 October 2020 06:00, a maintenance planning is still under finalization. The details will be communicated as soon as they are final.
