The Zeebrugge LNG terminal again widens its destination flexibility. This week we saw the first customer load an LNG container at the facility for rail transport. This lowers emissions and widens destination flexibility.
Friday 8 July, the terminal for liquified natural gas (LNG) in Dunkirk has received its first LNG tanker, thereby launching the industrial start-up of the facility.
Fluxys as partner in the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is pleased to announce that the pipeline started commercial operations: an additional energy route into Europe has now opened after 4 and a half years of construction.

Ten partners including Fluxys are launching the North-C-Methanol project in the Ghent part of North Sea Port. The project aims at a world-class infrastructure to reduce CO2 emissions by 140,000 tonnes annually and to produce 44,000 tonnes of green methanol as feedstock for local industry and as fuel for ships and trains.
Fluxys' strategy is on the move. The latest example of that is a project in Wallonia in which our company is set to play a pivotal role. This time, it's all about the circular economy, and how CO2 from an industrial plant in the Liège region could be used to make concrete blocks for use in local construction.
Fluxys LNG has still 1 remaining unloading slot on sale on 26 May 2024 after the auction of 13 March 2024 at 10h.
The slot will be allocated on a first committed first served basis.
FluxSwiss and SwissAI have signed a collaboration agreement to explore the performance of AI in energy infrastructure modelling. The collaboration marks a first step towards AI-enabled system modelling for the energy transition.
With a view to achieving its carbon emission reduction goals, Heidelberg Materials' cement business in Belgium (currently known as CBR) aims to implement the Anthemis project at its Antoing cement plant and is pleased to partner with Fluxys Belgium to create a CO₂ value chain. The partners recently signed a declaration of interest underscoring the cement manufacturer's desire to have access to and use of the CO₂ transmission backbone project as proposed by the Belgian gas transmission infrastructure operator.
FluxSwiss is offering transportation capacities in the North-South direction in the routes Wallbach - Gries Pass and Oltingue - Gries Pass on a Firm basis for the Month of March 2020.
Available quantities are 1.140 MWh for the route Wallbach - Gries Pass and 810 MWh for the route Oltingue - Gries Pass.
Fluxswiss is enhancing its commercial offer on its Transitgas pipeline routes to reflect clients’ needs in current gas market conditions: for the first time, Fluxswiss is going to auction monthly reverse-flow products for delivery January ’21, on all routes and alongside the traditional forward-flow products.
For the months of September and October 2020 the monthly auctions for Firm capacities in the routes Wallbach-Gries Pass and Oltingue-Gries Pass have not been published due to scheduled maintenances in the Transitgas system making the monthly Firm capacities unavailable.
During the Yearly Auctions on 6 July 2020 German TSOs may limit their long term capacity offer on the Eynatten IPs.
Capacity offer remains sufficient on the Fluxys Belgium grid and you will be able to book additional capacity on the German side.
