A Fluxys pipeline near you - Your guide
Ensuring safety together
At Fluxys, the safe operation of our grid is a priority, for which a team of over 500 employees is responsible day in, day out.
As someone who lives near or owns property near one of our pipelines, we ask you to treat our infrastructure with appropriate care and to act responsibly.
The most common cause of accidents involving pipelines is damage caused by third parties carrying out work near our infrastructure. That is why we need your cooperation: notify us as soon as you have specific plans and before work gets underway. We can then discuss the safety regulations with you.
How to notify us of your planned work
Quick and easy online
You can notify us of your planned work quickly and easily using the relevant online platform. This way, you can quickly discover whether there are Fluxys pipelines (or other utility infrastructure) in the area of the future construction site.

Fluxys will visit your worksite at no charge to discuss the work with you.
Teams on stand-by 24/7
Thorough inspection
Our patrol officers are based at five regional operation centres across the country. They carry out their inspections by car, by helicopter or on foot, checking the pipeline routes and offering guidance to anyone carrying out work nearby.
They also keep a close eye on whether any unreported work is getting underway near a pipeline.
Round-the-clock supervision and monitoring by central dispatching
A dispatching office is to natural gas transmission what an air traffic control tower is to an airport. Here our dispatchers check and monitor the grid's natural gas flows 24 hours a day.
Intervention centre
If an incident occurs on the grid, Fluxys' technicians and specially trained welders are on stand-by 24 hours a day to intervene on site or make repairs.
Issues with your land or property
You can report problems with your land or property quickly and easily by completing the 'Agricultural damage' form or by contacting the Fluxys Community Relations team.
