During first quarter, a record 72 ship operation took place at the Zeebrugge terminal. Both February and March broke the record number of ships per month.
Fluxys LNG is contemplating the option of creating up to 6 mtpa (or ~10,5 GWh/h) of additional firm regasification capacity in Zeebrugge in the future.
On July 9th 2020, the CREG has approved Fluxys LNG’s suggested introduction of the new services Stand Alone Send Out Capacity and Stand Alone Berthing Right in the context of Market Consultation n°43.

From July 22nd until August 14th 2020, Fluxys LNG organizes a Subscription Window to commercialize Stand Alone Send Out (‘SASO’) Capacity until 2023 and Stand Alone Berthing Rights (‘SABRs’) until 2039.

Friday 8 July, the terminal for liquified natural gas (LNG) in Dunkirk has received its first LNG tanker, thereby launching the industrial start-up of the facility.
Swedegas is investing in a LNG bunkering facility in the Port of Gothenburg (Sweden). It will be the first LNG facility in the largest port of Scandinavia. Fluxys LNG will facilitate the delivery of LNG with the construction of a second truck loading station in Zeebrugge.

Brussels, 5 February 2019 – Fluxys and Titan LNG have joined forces to build the FlexFueler 002, a bunkering pontoon to make liquefied natural gas (LNG) more widely available as shipping fuel in the Antwerp port and region. The pontoon will be commissioned by the second half of 2020 and support the shipping industry in its switch to cleaner operations. Titan LNG will be the long-term operator of the pontoon.
